"Application categories for the 2015 Australian Timber Design Awards have been expanded to ensure we cover all types of projects making exemplary use of timber in their design. These categories comprise:
1. Residential Class 1 – New Building
2. Residential Class 1 – Alteration or Addition
3. Multi-Residential
4. Public or Commercial Building
5. Interior Fit-out – Residential Class 1
6. Interior Fit-out – Commercial
7. Landscape
8. Stand-Alone Structure
9. Furniture or Joinery
Once an Application Category has been chosen, a project can be entered into Distinction, Sustainability, Rising Star, Small Budget and Timber Product categories."
